Know Your Unique Hair Type: (kinky, curly, or wavy) this will help in selecting the right products in caring for your hair and letting it shine with honor! 

Cleanse Your Hair with Tenderness: use shampoos without harsh chemicals and gently massage your scalp. Rinse your hair completely to get rid of all the shampoo during washing and detangling.

When Detangling: Use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers to untangle your hair. Always start at the ends and work your way up towards the scalp to avoid knots and breakage. 

Nurture Your Hair with Moisture: natural oils, conditioners, and leave-in products aid to keep your hair hydrated and healthy.

Minimize the Use of Heat: hot tools like blow dryers, flat irons, or curling irons should not be used too often. When using them always apply a heat protectant spray/oil and use lower heat settings. 

Explore Various Protective Hairstyles: braids, twists, buns, or up-dos can keep your hair safe from daily maintenance. 

Routinely Trim Hair: to get rid of split ends, and damaged hair, to help your crown grow healthily.

Locs:

Locs are created by allowing your hair to naturally form into individual strands or by twisting sections of hair to create defined and rope-like locks. They can be styled in various ways and offer versatility and a unique look.

Twists:

Twists involve two strands of hair twisted together, creating a coiled pattern. They can be done with your natural hair or extensions, giving you the freedom to experiment with different lengths and textures.

Crochets: 

Crochet braids involve attaching hair extensions to your natural hair using a crochet needle. This technique allows for various styles, such as braids, twists, or even faux locs, providing a protective and fashionable options. 

Braids and Cornrows
